THE POWER OF TECHNOLOGY.

MODE OF ACTION

ULTHERAPY PRIME uses micro-focused ultrasound technology to create thermal coagulation points (TCPs) at the precise depths of 1.5, 3.0, and 4.5mm, to reach the collagen and elastin rich tissue layers, to create a personalised lift without damaging the skin’s surface.1-3

Its engineering precision promotes delivery of TCPs at optimal, consistent coagulative temperatures of approximately 65°C, initiating the rejuvenation process through collagen denaturation and synthesis for effective, reproducible results.1,3,4

Patients may see some initial lift, but visible results will take about 3 to 6 months after treatment, with continued improvement over a year, as new collagen and elastin form.4-6

PHASE 1:

TEMPORARY INFLAMMATION ASSOCIATED WITH THE HEALING PROCESS
During the initial phase, macrophages engulf and digest injured tissue and release cytokines, which attract fibroblasts.7,8

PHASE 2:

PROLIFERATION
In the proliferation phase, fibroblasts synthesise the newly created type Ill collagen alongside other mediators important to rebuilding the collagen matrix.7,8

PHASE 3:

MATURATION & REMODELING
In the maturation and remodelling phase, type III collagen is replaced by type I collagen, forming tight cross-links with itself and other proteins, leading to a long-term, lifting result.4,7,8
